- FOR SMOOTH HAIR: To smooth hair, press and hold the power button to select the Smooth setting. Wait 90 seconds, and then take a 1–2 inch section of hair, place the iron close to the roots, clamp, and glide slowly down the length in one smooth motion.
- FOR CURLY HAIR: To curl hair, press the power button twice to select the Curl setting. Wait 90 seconds, then take a 1–2 inch section of hair, hold it above the root, and wrap it evenly around the barrel. Hold for 2–3 seconds, then release.
- FOR WAVY HAIR: To create wavy hair, press the power button three times to select the Smooth & Curl setting. Wait 90 seconds, then take a 1–2 inch section of hair & place it between the blades. Wrap the section around the blade, then release.
